Float used to own fridays for me but not anymore. The hype has gone down and they have given in to wack promoters it looks like. It is a nice space though - too bad its being wasted.

Black leather banquettes, blue illuminated glass tables and red lanterns punctuate the main room of this three-level club. Smoke intermittently pumps through the vents and spotlights circle the dance floor as lovely Latina ladies dance to hip-hop and R&B with their suit-clad honeys. The balcony provides a view of the action, as well as offering a more intimate room in which to get acquainted. The third floor is reserved for private events and celebrity regulars including Marc Anthony, Billy Zane, Fat Joe and Ashanti.

I went to Float on a Saturday night and I must say that I had a really good time. The space is nice and if you really want to dance, the D.J. does his thing. Security was tight and other than the music, that's what I liked the most.
