Once you bypass the velvet rope, door staff, and entryway constructed literally of cinderblocks, pat yourself on the back for being cool enough to do so, and join the crowd of A-list, well-connected, gorgeous party-goers. Step in line, and parade around the perimeter of an impossibly crowded room. Even though you won't find a conventional dance floor, the DJs mix up a spastic concoction of hip-hop, interspersed with samples of early 90’s nostalgia from Nirvana to Michael Jackson. Reserve a table and come early, because by the time midnight rolls around, you won’t be able to appreciate the post-modern Haitian-inspired space, let alone find a spot to artistically arrange your Armani-clad booty.
