This place is a bit more upscale than the regular village joints by Union Square. Usually a preppy crowd who get sloppy. Within one hour, 5 sets of guys came up to me and my girls while we having a drink on the couch to try to get some. We directed them elsewhere, but one group out of 5 stayed.

Union Bar, located in the heart of the Flatiron/Gramercy Park/Union Square area, is the premiere spot in the hottest food and beverage neighborhood in New York City.

definitely upscale patrons and if you want to meet people worth your time, this is the place.
