The downstairs features a winding bar and a restaurant rich with candles and a recently revamped menu. The upstairs lounge with its lovely couches, more of those candles and soaring ceilings is host to all kinds of parties and top quality cabaret-influenced events. If a Euro-looking crowd and a mixed gay/straight vibe is what you're after, Flamingo is on the short list. —Otis Rubottom
