A would-be respite for Irishmen, locals, and all-around boozers, this Orchard Street bar seems slightly unsure of its own identity: Is it a traditional Irish pub? An upscale dive? A divey lounge? The space itself is flanked by plush banquettes opposite a long bar with a pool room and garden in back, but the lean crowd tends to gravitate toward the front, causing most of the main room to feel empty.
