After reading the previous post, I planned an event at this place and was thoroughly disappointed. There was NO waitstaff at all for our party, meaning that all my guest had to go to the bar to order drinks. We were also charged a cake cutting fee (for a cake we brought ourselves) despite the fact that WE were responsible for cutting the cake!!! The atmosphere is nice for a get-together, but don't expect any kind of service at all!

Last week, I had a private event that exceeded my expectations. The service was impeccable, from the waitstaff, to the bartenders, to the managers, I couldn't possibly ask for more. Everyone was so friendly, professional, and attentive. Throughout my evening at Mica Bar, I also had a sampling of their wonderful tapas menu. WOW, is all I can say. I wanted to eat more because the tapas were so good, but there was just too much food, I coudn't even muster another bite. We were seated in the back area of the deck which-- GET THIS --featured a retractable roof!! This roof completely opened up and offered us a spectacular view of the city sky. It was so great ! I would definitely recommend this place and already have to all my friends and co-workers.
