I was on my way to another bar on Chrystie to try to find a place to hold my birthday party and I stumbled upon this bar. No sign, just 3 chandeliers hanging above stairs that lead you down to the entrance. I was immediately drawn to this "Secret Bar-sh" feature. I went on a Saturday night at around 12:30 and it wasn't crowded at all (but not to a point where you feel like the place is completely dead) which made me happy, I don't know about everyone else but I definately don't like squeezing in and out of people just to move one inch. The space is large, filled with old vintage couches (comfy too). The DJ played an awesome mix of Rock, supposedly they play more electronic/dance music on Fridays. (Source: Unknown)
