Cocktail Room

The stylized feel of the Cocktail Room is a pleasant change from the typical Upper East Side bar scene which tends to range from fratty to divey bars. Each element of the decor seems distinctly coordinated to create an upscale, downtown feel. While they pour a great martini, don't overlook the creative cocktail menu. The well-made cocktails range from a mojito($8), which combines refreshing mint and lime, with rum in a way that is dangerously easy to drink to a Potion 20($10) which features raspberry and vanilla vodkas with 7-up and fresh raspberries, also almost too drinkable. Raspberry Lemonade($9) is just ok. Happy Hour (Mon - Fri 5 - 9 pm) drinks are buy one get one free, and they'll even let you try a different drink for your free one. -about.com (Source: Unknown)
